Day 14 - Herculaneum

Another fabulous day as we embark on the Ancient History component of this tour. A busy train ride to Herculaneum was had being entertained by Gypsies as they sang for us along the way. Of course the cup was being passed around at the end!
What an amazing time we then had discovering this ancient city.
An ancient store
Grand pillars
Hard to imagine this amazing place was buried in 79AD.
We then enjoyed a visit to the National Archeological Museum of Naples. Amazing to think cooking implements we use today are similar to those used over 2000 years ago.
We are currently relaxing back at the hostel, kids working on their journals. The kids have been outstanding in their work. Well done guys!

Tonight we had a beautiful traditional meal. Bellisimo!
