Day 9 Munich

We left for Munich this morning on the train and made our way through the railway stations and caught trams to find our hostel. We felt like real backpackers. Two minute stop to drop our bags then another huge day of exploring a new city by foot. We first stopped at the Beerhall to hear about the failed attempt to assassinate Hitler. We then walked from here tracing the steps of the Nazi March from the Beerhall Putsch of 1923 into central Munich. The two most amazing tour guides ever (Matt & Mark) led the way explaining and pointing out important historical facts along the way.
On the steps of the Feldherrnhalle (Field Marshall's Hall)

We had a great day and enjoyed watching the locals surf in the Isar River
A great day again - all exhausted
